Join us at SUSU for a special FREE cinema screening that offers a magical experience for the whole family!

Gather with friends and family as we offer you the chance to immerse yourselves in the enchanting world of film as we showcase beloved films perfect for the Summer holidays.

To note - the film will start 15 minutes after the stated start time. There are no adverts at the beginning of the film.

Limited parking is available on site. Southampton Central train station is just a 10 minute drive away from Highfield Campus. There is a taxi rank outside of the station, or you can use the Unilink buses to bring you straight to campus.  

Terms & Conditions

• Tickets to attend these screenings are free. If you realise closer to the date that you are no longer able to attend, please email suevents@soton.ac.uk so we can allow others to join once we are at capacity.
• There should be a minimum of one parent/guardian per 3 children in attendance. 
• No children should attend on their own.
• Parent/Guardians are responsible for their children at all time.
• Parent/Guardians will be responsible of their child(rens) dietary requirements.
• Please do not bring external food and drinks.
• Each ticket is valid only for the show detailed. All visitors will be asked to vacate the cinema once the film screening is over.

Join us for a fun filled roller skating event suitable for ages 12 and up.

Glide, spin, and groove to your favourite tunes in a vibrant atmosphere filled with lights, music and exhilarating energy.

Whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out, come and make unforgettable memories with friends and family.

Terms and Conditions 

• This event is solely for ages 12+. We stock skates size 3 and up. (limited number available for each size)
• All under 14’s must be accompanied by a parent, carer, or guardian over the age of 18 in all sessions. This guardian does not have to partake in the skating but should be available in the waiting room.
• All participant under 18 are required to complete a waiver, which must have been completed by a parent, carer, or guardian over the age of 18.
• Parents, carers or guardians have a duty to supervise their children. SUSU will not be held liable to those suffering damage to property or injury as a result of a parent’s, carer’s, or guardian’s failure to supervise persons in their care.
• Roller skating, like all sports, has risks that should be considered. Even thoroughly trained and experienced skaters have the risk of injury due to the nature of the sport. Neither the management nor the staff of SUSU shall be liable for any accidents or injury to any customer or third party. Accidents can occur through one’s lack of skill and experience or by collision with another third party. For this reason, skaters and other visitors should understand they may be at risk of accidents and injury from both themselves or other parties.
• No spectators are allowed on the skating arena.
• Safety guards including knee and elbow pads, and helmets will be provided and you will be required to wear them.
• Socks must be worn when wearing skates.
• No food or drink to be brought into the skating arena.
• Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or anyone under the influence, will not be permitted on the premises.
• SUSU is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
• While skating; no pushing, fast skating, playing tag, or suddenly stopping at any time on the skate floor is permitted, as these actions will jeopardize the safety of other skaters.
• Please skate in an anti-clockwise direction, unless otherwise instructed by the SUSU staff.
• No skates are to be worn in the toilets, please remove beforehand.
• No skates/rollerblades to be worn entering or leaving the building.
