Give It A Go: Make a Magazine with Wessex Scene: Design Workshop

About this event

Do you have an interest in art, photography, or design? Do you want to see your work published in a print magazine? Do you want to get involved in student journalism? Join the University of Southampton's oldest student magazine at Winchester School of Art in the second of our Make a Magazine 'Give it a Go' sessions. Prior to this session, students in the "Writer's Workshop" have written up the articles for our October edition of Wessex Scene. But magazine articles are only as good as how they look! In this workshop we intend to design and illustrate/add images to these articles, formatting them into an A5 magazine. Following this, our committee will edit, market, and publish the work! Anyone who attends the session will of course receive the finished product once printed, as well as see them distributed across Highfield, Avenue and WSA.
