Hi everyone!
We are very excited to announce an event coming up in collaboration with SUSU sustainability; a BioBlitz at Glen Eyre halls!
What is a BioBlitz?
"Wildlife experts and the wider public work together, within a set amount of time, to find and identify in the area as many species of plants, animals and fungi as possible."

Event details;
We'll be set up, and meet at Glen Eyre main hall. From there, we'll go around the site to find species/wildlife. The event will last roughly an hour and a half depending on what we find!
Members of our committee will lead/advise groups when going around the site!
What to bring/how to prepare;
! We'll be using the iNaturalist app to identify various species around the site. For this reason, we recommend downloading the app in advance to the session.
! We recommend wearing appropriate footwear (e.g, walking boots, trainers), and warm clothing/waterproofs to the event alongside staying up to date with the weather for the day.
