About this event
Be Yourself: Building Confidence on Camera
Being on camera can feel intimidating. Even with all the prep in the world, it’s easy to freeze or lose your flow as soon as you are in front of the camera. But
being natural and engaging on screen is a great way to connect with your audience and a skill that can be learnt.
In this workshop, we’ll explore performance techniques to help you build confidence and presence on camera. Using tools from theatre and storytelling like scripting, improvisation, body language, and breath work, you’ll learn how to communicate clearly and comfortably, and hopefully have fun! These skills aren’t just useful for camera work but also for public speaking, pitching, and leadership.
Post Workshop Sessions:
Have a video idea you’re excited about but not sure how to bring it to life? Or perhaps you need tailored advice on a specific video project or marketing campaign? After the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to book a 30-minute one-on-one session with our workshop leader. This is your chance to brainstorm ideas, develop creative solutions, and receive expert guidance to help elevate your video marketing.
